HIP is hosting the 2023 Cornhole Tournament in front of Tanner Brewing located at 222 W. Atlantic Ave on October 28th.

The tournament will run from 12 pm- 6 pm or until the competition is complete.
Registration of teams will be taken online and at the event prior to 11 am.

There will be a $50 non-refundable fee per team to register for the event. The event payout will be awarded to the TOP 2 teams. This will be double elimination.

Fire In The Hole Cornhole Tournament

Fees & Awards - $50 registration fee.

  • Entry fees are non-refundable per team

  • 2 - person Teams

  • Cash awards for 1st and 2nd place.

  • Team Composition:

    • Teams can be any combination of male and female players (2 males, 2 females or 1 male and 1 female).

    • # of teams will be determined by number of entries but to be limited to no more than 32 teams.

Date and Time

Tournament will be held on W. Atlantic Ave (in front of Tanner Brewery 222 W. Atlantic Ave. Haddon Heights NJ) on Saturday, October 28th, 2023 from 12PM-6PM. If team slots are available the day of, registration will begin at 10AM and end at 11AM at Tanner Brewing.

No registrations passed 11AM will be accepted on October 28th. All teams must be signed in by 11AM and ready to play by 12PM. Teams not at their bag court will be eliminated after 5 minutes.

Scoring

  • Each bag on the box = 1 point

  • Each bag in the hole = 3 points

  • Any bags touching the ground or “bounced” onto the box do not count and are to be removed prior to the next bag being thrown by the opposing team.

  • Total points for each team are calculated using only those points that were not canceled out.

-Example:
*Team 1 throws 1 bag in the hole and 3 bags land on the box for a total of 6 points;
*Team 2 throws 1 bag in the hole and 2 bags land on the box for a total of 5 points;
*Then Team 1 receives 1 point for that round.

  • The team who scores last will have the first throw of the next round.

[*]A score of 21 points or more will be declared the winner. A tie will require extra innings until a winner is decided. All games go to 21 or more to win. Scorekeepers and judges will be walking around to aid at any time.
